2007-02 
'klangmetallklang', an interactive audio installation made
with two metalplates and eight solenoids attached to a junglegym.
The installation was part of a 'soundgarden' realized by students
of the new media department and coached by the sound artist Andres
Bosshard, Zurich.

This movie was made during the holidays in Vitrac, Auvergne, France.

2006-06
The project 't-morph' is about movement in moving pictures and the
relation between space and time. Based on a selfwritten piece of python
code, ten short movies from everyday life are processed. While some
objects appear unchanged, others change their significance in the
picture.

2005-06
Started the project 'radiosolarkompass' 
(http://www.radiosolarkompass.org) with the artist Anja Kaufmann,
Zurich. It is a webradio-station with a database of more than 400 
radiostations. The radio stations are played according to the 
position of the sun, so that always these locations are played, 
where the sun is rising.

2004
Started the netpd-project (http://www.netpd.org). It is an 
environment realized in puredata, that allows several users to 
have livejamsessions with there selfmade sequencers and synthesizers
connected over the net.

2001-01 - 2004-10
Employed at the company 'mati AG' (http://www.mati.ch), a company for
light design and multimedia in museums and exhibitions. Active in the
areas: sound/speech recording, cutting, mastering, sound design, 
developing and realizing electronic units for specialized applications, 
such as interfaces and controllers, and more.

2001-09 - 2003-02
Visited the School of Audio Engineering (SAE) in Zurich and made the
Audio Engineering Diploma in 2003-02 with a paper about 'Roomsimulation
by Convolution' (http://romanhaefeli.net/Diplomarbeit_SAE_2003.pdf)

2000-04 - 2000-10
Worked in the Swiss Pavillon at the EXPO2000, the World Exhibition in 
Hannover during  Summer 2000 as a barman in one of three bars and at the 
same time as contact person for people visiting the pavillon.
